Just listened to this - fascinating! I did not know about differential inhale/exhale, & love the idea of ‘stereo’ scenting

They ARE amazing. Did everyone know they inhale through the ‘holes’ and exhale through the ‘slits?’ And, they really can focus on one scent….. It is amazing

Seriously I presumed human nostrils and K9 were similar…learned something new today! Well more like a lot new. And the extra sensory area on the roof of mouth…I had no idea! And that was always exposed after my Daisy’s partial mandiblectomy

Love the science of nose ‘sight’ in this and just shows that when we tell them that they are amazing after finishing a track…we truly mean it
