It was a thing of beauty! At the start, Otis evaluated the grounds, checked on the audience, leapt straight up into the air, and came down in perfect tracking posture. He checked on his audience at the first turn, and then in a very businesslike fashion, made the turn and did the second leg on rails. He continue to be alll business until the 4th turn….where he again offered airs above the ground, and then tracked perfectly 140 yards to the glove, which he picked up, leapt into the air, and galloped back to Em.
Just gorgeous!
